Our Legacy Protection Plan
Since the founding of Hammond Law Group, our primary concern has been ensuring that the estate plan we create for you will effectively pass your legacy the way you intend. Many of our clients have concerns regarding ongoing life changes and their impact on their estate plan. However, some clients may be hesitant to set an appointment to review their estate plan, largely out of fear that if changes are needed there will be an additional cost. Though review meetings every few years are sufficient for many clients, some clients experience changes more frequently and less predictably than they can stay on top of. Beginning January 15, 2008, Hammond Law Group will offer a new, more thorough and in-depth service, the Legacy Protection Plan. This unique plan is an annual maintenance program providing a variety of benefits for all estate planning clients, from those with very simple estates to those with more advanced estate planning issues. With time, everyone experiences significant life changes-the birth of children or grandchildren, marriages and remarriages, the passing away of loved ones, and personal financial changes. And of course, nobody can predict future changes in the laws governing our estate plans.
The Legacy Protection Plan is designed to keep your estate plan current with annual appointments to review your estate plan as well as seminars to help assist you in better understanding, managing and administering your estate. If after an appointment you need to make simple changes to your estate plan, the change of Successor Trustees, Personal Representatives, agents under your Power of Attorney, age of distributions to your children, and adjustments to charitable beneficiaries will be complimentary. Furthermore, if you have young adults in your immediate family, the firm will prepare Health Care Directives and HIPAA declarations free of charge. Also included are your annual membership to DocuBank, renewal of your Powers of Attorney every five years, and discounts on other, more complex updates to your estate plan.
Finally, please rest assured that every client's estate plan provides full and complete coverage for their basic estate planning needs, and the firm will continue to provide the same essential services as in the past. If you wish to retain the firm for a specific service, then you may do so at our normal fee. However, if you require additional services or anticipate that your estate may need closer management, please consider participating in our Legacy Protection Plan.
